Rochman | East Orange Psychiatric AssociatesDr. Todd Rochman, MD received his Psychiatric training at St Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center in NYC as a Fellow of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr Rochman is a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a long standing member of The American Psychiatric Association. In 1987 he moved to the Hudson Valley and began his career in mental health. Dr. Rochman has practiced in virtually every corner of the field including but not limited to; Attending Psychiatric Staff for fifteen years at St Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie NY. Twenty years of Forensic Consultative services for the Dutchess County Department of Mental Health. Six years serving as Chairman and Chief of Psychiatry at St Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh NY. Dr. Rochman has expertise in Adult and Adolescent care treating all mental health needs. As a board certified Psychopharmacologist, Dr. Rochman is available to provide Assessments and Medication management for all EOPA patients.

Anderson | East Orange Psychiatric AssociatesIngrid Anderson, LCSW-R, has been providing a warm, caring, nonjudgmental atmosphere for the last 28 years. She helps each client develop a partnership of trust and mutual respect. Together with her clients, Ingrid helps identify and build on personal strengths for the purpose of resolving emotional, relationship, and life issues. These can include feelings of hopelessness, guilt, and low self esteem; panic and other forms of anxiety; losses such as family members, health, and relationships; and difficulty with communication, stress, anger, and codependency, among other concerns. Ingrid has worked with clients who are having problems with addictions and other compulsive behaviors. She also has experience with TBI and LGBTQ issues. She is known to ask thought provoking questions and to offer various suggestions for increasing self awareness and healing through changing attitudes and behaviors.

Ingrid uses cognitive behavioral, psycho dynamic, and mindfulness techniques and is trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy which has been proven very effective in reducing effects of traumatic experiences whether they were recent or in the past. She has worked in inpatient and outpatient clinic treatment settings and was part of a team that created and facilitated an intensive mental health continuing day treatment program. She also provided early intervention and prevention services to adolescent children of substance abusers in a high school.  Schooling:  MSW 1995 SUNY Albany, MA Sociology 1994 SUNY New Paltz, LCSW-R 2004. Retired CASAC 1868 in good standing after 27 years in 2011. Training in Cognitive Processing Therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in 2010, some training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in 2009.

Sullivan | East Orange Psychiatric AssociatesRichard Sullivan, LCSW, has been in the human services field for over 33 years. He is a licensed certified social worker and a master addictions counselor. A retired casac, Richard was on the ground floor of what was then the cac movement for alcoholism counselors. He was very politically involved in the movement and was president of the metropolitan region of NYFAC from 1980 – 1983. Starting out on the Bowery at the time it was skid row, starting in the late 1970′s, Richard moved into working in rehabs in new york state. He has been a supervisor of in patient programs and assistant clinical director of one. Richard then moved onto the directorship of a hospital based out patient clinic. In the fields of addiction and mental health, Richard has worked in a variety of activities (marketing, aftercare, detoxes, working with children, adolescents, adults, groups, couples, men_ s issues, and a variety of mental health disorders). For over 13 years Richard had been the CEO, owner and executive director of coping west/Richard Sullivan, LCSW, p.c. it was a practice with five offices in the Hudson valley. Richard has taught on the college level (Mount Saint Mary and Liu), and is looking forward to teaching at the life learning center at Suny New Paltz, NY in the spring of 2012 (the course will be: the history of rock n roll). An integral part of letting his hair down is that he dj’s on the internet several times a week. He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

George Toth | East Orange Psychiatric AssociatesGeorge Toth, LCSW-R, is a psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist, with over 40 years experience. He is co-founder of Alternative Counseling. He is Adjunct Professor of Family Counseling, Long Island University. He was formerly Director of Army Community Service, United States Military Academy. He is author of the book, Marble Mindfulness: Unlock Your Family’s Hidden Messages. He is a featured therapist on the popular Discovery Channel reality television series, Orange County Choppers (American Chopper). He has presented workshops and seminars globally.
